The Traxxas 6839X front shock tower is a direct-fit aluminium upgrade for the Traxxas 64077-3, 68277-4, and SNAPON18 models, machined from 7075-T6 aluminium with a blue-anodised finish. The stock plastic shock tower is one of the first components to crack or flex under hard bashing or racing use, and swapping to this aluminium version adds structural rigidity to the front suspension setup. Part number TRX6839X, it installs in place of the factory part without modification.
