The Seagull Models SEA389 Ultimate Biplane 54.3 is an ARF (Almost Ready to Fly) aerobatic biplane designed for experienced RC pilots looking for a capable 20cc petrol-powered fixed-wing aircraft. With a wingspan of 54.3 inches, this biplane is built around aerobatic performance, covering a wide range of manoeuvres from basic sequences through to more demanding 3D-style flying. The Blue, Silver, and Black colour scheme gives it strong visual presence in the air, and the ARF construction means most of the building work is already done — you're closer to the flight line than you would be with a full kit. Released in September 2023, the SEA389 represents Seagull Models' current take on the classic Ultimate biplane design.

Key Features

  • ARF construction with pre-covered airframe significantly reduces build time compared to a raw kit
  • 54.3-inch wingspan suits 20cc class petrol engines, giving a good balance of presence and handling for aerobatics
  • Designed for aerobatic and 3D-capable flying — suited to pilots with experience in bi-wing or aerobatic fixed-wing models
  • Bold Blue, Silver, and Black covering scheme provides clear orientation when airborne
  • Released September 2023 as an updated Seagull Models offering in the popular Ultimate biplane format
