The Seagull Models Van's RV-8 71" ARF (SEA388) is a large-scale aerobatic RC plane built for 35-40cc gas or electric power and aimed at intermediate to advanced pilots. Modelled on Richard VanGrunsven's classic low-wing RV-8 homebuilt, this ARF aircraft kit arrives factory-covered in genuine Oracover film with a high-visibility scheme and a 71-inch (180 cm) wingspan. It's a fully aerobatic airframe that climbs well, tracks cleanly, and is stable enough for sportsman and intermediate aerobatics as well as light 3D flying. As an ARF, the major airframe is pre-built and covered, so you finish assembly and fit your own power and radio gear. This SEA388 release replaces the earlier SEA249 kit.
