The Hangar 9 Valiant 10cc (HAN5080) is a 1.75m wingspan ARF fixed-wing sport plane designed for intermediate to advanced pilots who want a versatile aircraft capable of sport aerobatics, STOL flying, and even float-plane operation. With a 69-inch wingspan and semi-symmetrical airfoil, the Valiant 10cc is engineered to accept either a 10cc petrol engine or an equivalent brushless electric power system, giving you genuine flexibility in how you build and fly it. The striking white, silver, and true red UltraCote finish gives this RC plane a classic warbird-inspired look that stands out at the field.
Key Features
- Laser-cut balsa and plywood airframe with genuine Hangar 9 UltraCote covering for a durable, easy-to-maintain finish
- Two-piece cantilevered plug-in wing eliminates the need for struts and speeds up field assembly considerably
- Operational flaps deliver genuine STOL capability on takeoff and landing, and the semi-symmetrical airfoil supports crisp aerobatics including loops, rolls, and knife-edge passes
- Factory-installed hard points on the underside allow quick conversion to float-plane configuration using the optional float set (sold separately)
- Electric motor mount is included, so no airframe modifications are needed to run either a 10cc petrol engine or a brushless electric setup
