TypeBrushless ESC

The E-flite EFLA1040B 40-Amp Pro Switch-Mode BEC Brushless ESC (V2) is a sensorless brushless electronic speed control designed for electric RC aircraft running 3S to 6S Li-Po power. This V2 ESC delivers up to 40 amps of continuous current and includes an integrated switch-mode BEC, so you can power your servos and receiver directly from the flight battery without carrying a separate receiver pack. That keeps weight and wiring down on park flyers, sport planes, and aerobatic models. The brushless ESC comes prewired with an EC3 connector on the battery input and 3.5mm gold bullet connectors on the motor output, making it a clean fit for most E-flite and compatible airframes.

Key Features

  • 40 amps continuous current with proper airflow and 55 amps burst for up to 15 seconds
  • 5A switch-mode BEC at 5V, strong enough to support most 3-axis stabilisation systems and up to 7 analog or 6 digital standard servos
  • Accepts 3S to 6S Li-Po or 9 to 18 cell Ni-MH/Ni-Cd input voltage
  • Fully programmable timing, braking, low voltage cutoff, throttle range, and soft start for planes and helis
  • Safe power-arm mode and auto motor shutdown on signal loss, plus finned heat sinks and a radio system on/off switch
