The E-flite SR-71 Blackbird Twin 40mm EDF (EFL02050) is a BNF Basic RC jet that recreates the iconic Mach 3 reconnaissance aircraft for intermediate to advanced RC pilots. Spanning 19.88 inches (505mm) in wingspan and stretching 37.6 inches (955mm) in length, this twin EDF jet arrives almost completely factory-assembled and binds directly to any full-range 5+ channel Spektrum DSMX or DSM2 transmitter. Built around a lightweight but tough EPO airframe, it's equipped with Spektrum AS3X stabilisation technology and optional-use SAFE Select flight envelope protection, making it the most approachable SR-71 EDF model E-flite has produced. Whether you're taxiing from a smooth runway with the included retractable-style fixed landing gear or hand-launching from grass, this RC plane offers a genuinely unique flying experience.
