Hangar 9 UltraCote HANU893 is a polyester film covering for RC aircraft, finished in a vivid fluorescent lime colour suited to high-visibility sport and aerobatic models. UltraCote uses a multi-temperature-controlled adhesive and shrinkage system, meaning you apply adhesion and shrinkage at separate, controlled temperature stages rather than dealing with a single unforgiving heat setting. The patented polymerizing process permanently fuses the colour into the film itself, so there is no separate colour layer to lift or separate over time. At 0.30 oz per square foot it adds minimal weight to the airframe, and the material is fully fuel-proof against glow fuel, gasoline, and smoke oil, as well as being waterproof.
