Version II improves on the original with carbon fibre reinforcement throughout the structure, including 5mm x 5mm carbon stringers along both sides and the bottom of the fuselage, and carbon reinforcement in the wing panels for added rigidity without unnecessary weight. The ailerons and elevator now use pin hinges to allow greater surface deflection, which is essential for the exaggerated control throws required in 3D flying.
