The E-flite Twin Timber 1.6m BNF Basic (EFL23850) is a twin-motor STOL-capable RC plane equipped with AS3X stabilisation and SAFE Select flight envelope protection, aimed at a wide range of pilots from capable beginners to experienced sport flyers. Building on the Timber series' reputation for easy handling and short-field performance, the Twin Timber adds a second brushless outrunner motor, differential thrust, and motor reversing — features that open up unique ground handling and aerobatic possibilities not available on single-motor Timber models. At 1.6 metres wingspan, this RC aircraft is substantial enough to handle rough terrain and water operations yet remains manageable for everyday flying sessions. The BNF Basic format means the airframe, motors, ESC, servos, and receiver are all installed and ready to bind — you supply a compatible Spektrum DSMX transmitter and a suitable LiPo battery.

• Twin Spektrum brushless outrunner motors drive counter-rotating 3-blade props, supporting 3S (11.1V) or 4S (14.8V) LiPo batteries in the 2200–5000mAh range for flexible power options.
• A Spektrum Avian Dual 40A Smart ESC delivers real-time telemetry including battery voltage and ESC temperature via compatible Spektrum AirWare transmitters and the installed AR637TA receiver.
• Differential thrust and motor reversing allow precise ground steering and aerobatic manoeuvres that a single-motor aircraft cannot replicate.
• AS3X technology provides a locked-in, stable feel in flight, while optional-use SAFE Select adds flight envelope protection that can be switched on or off to suit pilot preference.
