The large packs which are "split" to meet IATA shippng regulations now use a 4mm bullet series connector set on short wires and a single balance plug, so they can be charged on a single charge port. Just remove the shrink tube from the series wires, connect, and you're ready to charge.
G6 HV packs can be charged to standard lipo teminal voltage of 4.2V per cell and in that case deliver about the same capacity as the standard lipo pack of same weight and C-rate (so the G6 2400 will deliver about 2200mAh when charged to 4.2V/cell), or charged to a maximum of 4.35V per cell for full rated capacity, about 10% additional capacity and run time compared to standard LiPo packs.
Don't forget, if your machine calls for a 2200mAh pack, get the G6 2400 for the right size and weight; if 1600mAh is the model's battery spec, use G6 1800, etc...
"C" RATE PERFORMANCE
The G6 HvLi LiPo come in three C-Rate versions, 60Cmax, 80Cmax, and 99Cmax. Continous C-Rate for 100%+ delivered capacity is 1/2 C-Max rate. The 60Cmax series are appropriate for most models and deliver high capacity and power per gram at lowest cost. The 80Cmax series is for applications that need higher voltage under load, such as 3D airplanes, helicopters, and FPV quad racers. The 99Cmax packs provide extreme voltage-holding capability for applications like EDF jets or other very fast models, or extreme 3D helicopters. In testing competing bands, we often find their continuous C-ratings badly inflated. For example, in testing our Cmax99 (50C continuous rating), it well outperformed a popular other-brand pack which was rated at 65C.
PACKS for FPV QUAD RACING?
The G6 HvLi LiPo are awesome for FPV Quad Racing, as the extra capacity allows you to use a lighter pack. The 1200 and 1400 80Cmax have short 60mm wires and XT60 connector, to further reduce weight , inprove perfomaance, and fit without excess wire hanging out. We recommend these packs depending on size of the racer and motors employed:
80Cmax 3S and 4S 1200mAh, 1400mAh, 1800mAh for racing
60Cmax 3S 2200mAh will be excellent for FPV fun running
